INFORMATION FOR SCHOOLS

We comply with all the vetting procedures required by DfES circular 7/96.

To ensure performance targets are achieved on long term bookings we monitor our staff by using a tailored contract for the placement

  • We provide staff for long term bookings

  • Matching of teachers to the year group requested

  • Placement of teachers to the appropriate Key Stage

  • Continuous training in the Literacy and Numeracy strategies

  • Training for teachers in new initiatives

  • 24 hour service

  • Experienced staff liaise with schools and teachers to ensure an efficient service to all client schools

  • MONITORING of staff - termly or yearly contracts with at least one appraisal a year, and up to three.

  • CHECKS - All teachers have a face to face interview, hold a current CRB Enhanced disclosure certificate and two references are obtained.

  • CHARGES/INVOICING - Charges vary according to the scale of the supply teacher. Our rates include on-costs and schools are invoiced weekly, irrespective of length of contract, for ease of administration.

  • GTC - Where appropiate our teaching staff are registered with the GTC.

  • BOOKINGS - For day to day bookings, telephone requests are noted and confirmed by telephone or fax with the school. For long term requests, details will be taken by telephone and a member of our staff will visit the school to discuss details of the contract.

  • NQT's - The agency employs many NQTs and we provide them with the support they need. However, agencies are not allowed to monitor their induction year and it is the placement school's responsibility to do so.

  • NURSERY NURSES - The agency provides these to Nursery, Infant and Primary schools.
