Established in 1994 we operate as follows:

• PRIMARY SUPPLY only deploys nursery nurses who have been vetted in the same way as its supply teachers.
• These nursery nurses are qualified and experienced, and hold one of three qualifications: NNEB, BTec National Diploma in Childcare, or NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
• We pay to the APT and C Grade scales utilised by most authorities.
• Due to the way in which supply work is paid for the LEAs, holiday pay is included in the daily rate paid. This is because the annual salary is divided by the number of working days in schools available, being 195. Primary Supply adopts the same basis for payment of salaries.
• Scale N17 is the maximum rate of pay for supply work.
• Supply staff working for Primary Supply are eligible for an annual increment when 130 days have been worked in LEA controlled schools. The increment takes effect from the start of the Autumn term each year.
